Commissions
These are my rates for private, and non-commercial commissions. What constitutes this type of commission work? This is basically for people who would like drawings and paintings of their characters to use for their own purposes. No profit is being made by the commissioner, and thus I charge less than I would for commercial work. I still hold the original rights to the work in question
If you are looking for commercial work, to be resold and redistributed for profit, I typically charge twice as much as I would for non-profit use. This is because I give up the copyrights to the work in question. You may use it as you please, and you hold the rights to the work.
Artwork Commissions
These prices vary based upon size, number of characters and complexity. Please contact me (Rin at December-Rain dot Org) for an exact quote.
Sketches, Graphite, Charcoal:
Half-body: $10-$30
Full-body: $20-$40
Pen, Ink, Lineart:
Half-body: $15-$35
Full-body: $35-$50
Markers, Watercolor:
Half-body: $20-$40
Full-body: $30-$50
CG (Photoshop, Painter):
Half-body: $50-$70
Full-body: $70-$90
CG for Print (300 DPI):
If a higher DPI is requested, I will charge more. I will not go any higher than 600 DPI. Generally, most people will not need more than 300 DPI for anything to be used in print.
Half-body: $50-$80
Full-body: $70-$100
Webdesign Commissions
Note: These rates are for private, non-profit use only. For Professional website design, I charge by the hour. Please inquire via email if you are looking for a website design for a business. For private, non-profit use, I will only design the website for you, or create graphics to be used on your site. I will not maintain the site for you, or write any content. I will also charge extra for XHTML complicancy, however, all designs will be made HTML 4.0 Transitional compliant.
Graphic Creation: ($20-$40) You provide the artwork to be used, and I will create the graphics for it. You must hold the copyright for the images, or have express persmission from the original owner. You may also ask me to create it for you for an additional fee.
Fansites: ($20-$50) These layout designs are to be used on character shrines, fanlistings, or just general fansites. For an additional fee, I can create artwork to be used on your fansite. (I will give you a discount on the art commission rate listed above). I will not do paid commissions that use copyrighted artwork. You must have someone create the artwork for you, or ask me to do it.
Blogs, and Personal Sites: ($20-$40) These are usually very simple designs, that can be easily incorporated into popular blogging software, such as Wordpress. I will charge extra to incorporate the design into your blogging software.
